Does anyone know if the Noctua NH-D15 Dual Radiator Quiet CPU Cooler with two NH-A15 Fans will fit on the Asus Z170M-PLUS motherboard, i have read that it is a big CPU cooler. I plan on using all 4 memory slot on the motherboard, will i be able to fit this cooler on?
Thanks in advance guys :)

according to the Spec Sheet/compatibility list

no it wont here is what Noctua list says about that board

The cooler is extending over the first PCI-E x16 slot, so please use the other available PCI-E slot(s) for your video card(s).

and yes the Cooler is Large as I use on my 4790K

thanks, I will be using it on a i7-6700K and do not plan on overclocking.. would a Noctua NH-U12S Slim U-Series do or would i be better off looking for a bigger board?

checked the site thanks...
The decision i have now is whether to get a bigger board like the Asus MAXIMUS VIII RANGER Z170.
Or stick with the Asus Z170M-PLUS and get a smaller CPU cooler like the Noctua NH-U12S ?
What do you guys think?

All I can say is the D15 is very good but also huge, on my Z97-A I can barely get to the PCI slot catch for my GPU, other than the huge size it is very good.

Thanks, have not brought any motherboard yet, just spec-ing up the puchase list. I will be getting a core i7 6700K, GTX960 card and a Cooler Master N-Series N300 case.
Need to get a good and quiet cooler to go with it. What motherboard would be best to go with that?

No not brought a board yet, thought i would check if the cooler would fit first. Any recommendations for a motherboard?

which out of these two would be better replacement for the Asus Z170M-PLUS, the Asus Z170 PRO GAMING or Asus MAXIMUS VIII RANGER Z170 please?
