Anyone have one of these? If so, what are they like?
The reviews look good.
Does anyone use them with the Asus Rampage Formula? Do they come supplied with the new brackets for this mobo? Or do you have to go through the annoying process of sending off to Noctua for one?

Thanks.

Ive got a NH-U9B and that is very good, no doubt the NH-U12P will be better than that.

I have one of these waiting to be reviewed, will be doing it early next week along with the Coolink CPU cooler, It's suppose to be excellent I will let you know how it fares!

Would also be interested in the answer to the question about brackets as I was recommended this cooler with the asus rampage formula..

What do you guys want to know? I have it here infront of me!

sounds like they want to know if it fits in motherboards with oversized motherboard heatsink arrangements typically associated with asus

I can see the old bracket, which is the sideways 'T' thing between the 2 bottom bags. I wonder if it includes the new ones. They are shown in the manual from the Noctua website.

There's a compatibility table on the website, if you want me to lay out the bits just say and I'll take a photo for you.

It's the parts that clamp the heatsink to the processor we'd like to see if poss. I'm kinda hoping you have the standard set and the new set for the Rampage.

Just received this webnote from OCUK:

"Thank you for your web note. The only thing I know about this product is that it supports 775, AM2 and AM2+.

You may need to contact Noctua for this
."

None too helpful i guess.

I have one that fits my Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 when fitted eitherway round. One way round does conflict with tall memory however.

If you can find a good close up pic of the Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 you can compare it to the board you are after and see if its roughly the same clearance.

The actual height of the northbridge cooler on my board is quite big but i have about 1cm clearance to the bottom of the fins on the noctua.

I just got one yesterday and the bag o' bits contains 2 of the brackets which i need for the Rampage Formula so all's well.
Well, we'll see when i build it after my monitor arrives ;)

I've built it and it's fine. It gets a little close on side but everything clears ok.
I have to say that the build quality is fantastic, and it has a flat base!
The fan is easy to attach. It looks great in my Antec 1200 case.
