I'm currently speccing up a new PC and looking at some CPU cooling.
Anyone know when the Noctua NH-U12P is being released? I can't find it anywhere from any of Noctua's authorised dealers. Everyone seems to stock the NH-U12F version.

Its got good reviews and i'm looking for a competent cooler that is quiet!

Also would a Thermalright ultra 120 + a Noctua NF-P12 fan be similar in performance? just that fitting seem to be a right bitch from what i've read.
Or are there any other coolers you recommend. ( Zalman CNPS9700 or Scythe mine)??

Last question :p
Would either of these 2 coolers fit an Antec Sonata III case?

A U120 and Noctua fan would be a very poor combination as the Noctua fan doesn't produce the air pressure necessary to handle the U120's densely packed fins. You'd be better off with a Scythe or Yate Loon fan.

It should fit in a Sonata case as it's the same width as the Solo and I have an NH-U12F in one.
