Noctua VS Sythe

I changed my Cooler the other day because I wanted to see the differnce. I was using sythe mini ninja and I changed to a spare Noctua u9.

I am sure I have seated the Noctua on right but there is a 10-15 degree differnce. The Noctua has more heat pipes but the Sythe has more mass. So does heat pipes not make any differnce when it comes to how big it is. the noctua is maybe 1/4 the size.

I think the mass makes a big difference. Also have you properly seated it and put on cooling paste correctly. I've had it before that fitting a cooler again made a lot of difference in temp but it turned out it wasn't making contact with the cpu correctly. Reseat it and it's OK.
