Noctua woes

Ok i made a mistake when building my new rig by optiing to go for 3x1 gig sticks of Corsair 3GB DDR3 Dominator PC3-14400C9 1866MHz (3x1GB).
Now that i want to upgrade from 3 gig to 6 gig i will be filling the slots with 6 sticks of 1 gig ram.

So i would have to remove the noctua as its taking up a ram slot.

Motherboard GIGABYTE EX58-EXTREME.

I dont overclock so would the coolermaster v8 be a good option and would it clear the first ram slot.

cheers for the reply m8, mine is the Silverstone Temjin TJ09B. i am more worried about the ram clearance.

I have a different case (Coolermaster 590) and use a Gigabyte UD4P which I think is similar in layout to ure EX58 Extreme. I tried my ram in the first slot when testing the system when I built it initially (as I had a faulty stick) and whilst it was a tight fit it did go in and sat just under the noctua..
