Just installed one of these HUGE things but I'm not sure I put the fan the right way, is the label supposed to be on the outside or the inside?

Inside if you want it to be blowing air through the heatsink and out the back of your case.

On one of the sides of the fan is an arrow telling you which way the airflow goes.

Yep - label show the direction the air is going; label towards you, air towards you
