ive just bought a dh14 i think it is my idel temps are now around 25-30 is that ok im running a i5 760 overclocked to 3.2 i know thats slow but not to sure how to clock

noctua haha and yeah looks fine, dont you find the fans noisy though?

what board you using? should be easy to hit 3.8-4ghz with that cooler

p7 p55m its a micro board asus i dont know how to overclock all ive done is alter the multipler to 20.0 instead of 18.o

try 21x180 bclk,use 8x mem multi,imc voltage to 1.2v,cpu voltage around 1.2-1.25

you can set cpu voltage to offset and add one or two clicks in the + part

then look in windows if you download cpu-z or look in asus turbo-v it will tell you how much cpu voltage your using ect

download realtemp and keep an eye on core temps, dont let them go above 80c
download intel burn test and do 5-10 runs max on maximum setting,if it passes its pretty stable

101 bsod error is not enough cpu voltage
124 bsod error is not enough imc voltage

above is only a rough guide, you may need more/less voltages you will need to tweak and test ect,but its a good starting point

i tried 21. 180 but my comp wouldnt start my memory is only 1600mhz if that makes sense my voltage as gone upto 1325

in offset does that mb let you choose - ?

might need 1.25v for vtt keep other settings the same

whats the max cpu multi for that chip?
