NOD32 File transfer issue

Hi Guys,

I've got NOD 32 setup on my server at home using quite a strict set of rules to filter lan/wan traffic.

This had been working fine, until a reinstall a few weeks ago.

It now seems to be killing my network transfer speeds I usually transfer at approx 13 MB/sec and with NOD32 firewall enabled this drops down to < 1 MB/sec.

Any ideas? As far as I can see the settings are identical to the previous setup.

I'm running Server 2008 on a AMD 2800 XP machine with 2gb RAM.

I remember when I had the firewall rules set to auto it would slow my lan traffic down by quite a bit, setting it to manual where it prompts for action resolved it for me.

set the AV to ignore certain file types..

ie

mp3
avi
vob
mpg
mpeg
mkv
