Nod32 has expired

I guess, but I'm not fond of Avast. Just seems too bloated. And I've used AVG before but didn't know it supported 2003.

Might give it a shot.

I'm not sure if it is. But it's worth looking into.

Saying that... my installation of NOD expired a few days ago and it still seems to work as it should

No free AV's that I have tried (AVG, Avast, AntiVir or Bit Defender) support Server 2003. I have no AV on my server but it's off at the moment!

get antivir and save your self money. Stopping viruses is much more to do with conmen sense than AV. There really is no need to pay for AV.

Absolutely..

In all honesty if you know what you are doing then AV isnt really required IMO. But thats if you are very very careful and no naughty downloads lol
