yes there is indeed, if you go to your AMON, then setup - there should be a tab called exceptions or the like, there just set the directory where your torrents get downloaded to, you may also want to setup the AMON to simply monitor files that are created rather than accessed or modified.
You may also want to change the IMON settings, if it has an exclude tab or some other option, as I find with standard settings that NOD32 can sometimes cause slowdowns, I used to notice really bad system lagging while NOD32 scanned every new download and internet request I made.
Now adays I simply disable the AMON and then manually scan my download directory/drive if I download something abit dodgy
