Hi all.
I never realised that Nod32 doesn't utilise multi-core CPU's... I guess not many applications do. Just running a scan, and since installing some fancy widgets, I've noticed that just one core is being maxed out.
I've emailed eset asking if they plan to support multi-core CPU's soon as a lot of customers would benefit. When you think about it, all these PC's in the shops are at least dual-core. I think it can only help and improve Nod32 even more. Shame it doesn't use all the cores as I do find there is a short delay when accessing the advanced features. More so when scanning and then trying to access the setup screen, etc.
Are there any AV packages that support more than one core?
Cheers.
