Has this randomly disabled itself for anyone else? I just noticed I had a red exclamation point, tried to re-tick the box and click OK, but the setting kept reverting to disabled.

I've just rebooted and it's re-ticked?! :confused:

Just a glitch, or something more.... I just installed Spotify, does this cause an issue with AV products?

Have you recently installed Vista SP2?
If so then that is the most likely problem. Nod32 v4 has major problems with Vista SP2 in some cases.
 
Hi there.

No I recently formatted my PC and just went back to SP1 (I had been running the SP2 beta for awhile). Just fired up Spotify again after the reboot in case it caused the protection to disable itself; however it seems to still be enabled this time!

Strange, perhaps just a glitch...
 
I've had this before on a system running XP and Vista. Initially a reboot would fix the problem but then it wouldn't. Had to de-install and re-install, then I found a post saying run the command netsh winsock fix (or something along those lines) which would fix the problem after a reboot but in the end I just gave up. Got Kaspersky with free with Barclays online and moved over to that.
