A few weeks ago, I installed the nod32 antivirus 30 day trial. Soon after, I noticed that my internet speeds were cripplingly slow, but because this effect was several days later, I didn't associate it with the antivirus.
I have just now gotten around to uninstalling it and my internet speeds are back to their usual speedy selves, so it would seem it was nod32 causing the problem. Why would an antivirus want to throttle my internet speeds? Especially one which is legendary for only minimally interfering with the rest of the computer?
