Hi there,

I decided to try this out as it seemed to be highly recommended on these forums.

So I downloaded and installed the trial version. My initial opinion was that the installation was a bit complicated and i had no idea which settings to choose to get the best out of this. Ie performace vs protection. (If anyone could help me out on that, it would be great).

So anyways, i have been using it for a couple of days and I wondered what *** differences between the trial and the full version are? I only ask becasue on the update page there is a button that says Full Version, and when you click on it it tells you about "upgrading" to the full version, so i am guessing there is a difference?

Thanks.

The trial lasts 30 days and the updates to the virus definitions will stop after this time?

I found the console very simple to use and am fairly confident i stuck with the default settings.

Upgrade enabled download of virus definitions post the trial period as far as i recall.

I have just purchased another 3yr licence - the beauty of this produc, among others I have tried, is the fact you forget it is there. Secondly, no viruses in 2-3 years I have owned it..

nod32 is not the best virus scanner. i run the 30 day trial the other week and it said my pc was clean. i removed it and installed avast and it detected a trojan immediately. i thought of it highly until this incident
