Hi

I am looking to build a new system inside a Node 202 with the following components but am unsure if heat might be a concern.

i7 10700k + Cryorig C7 Low Profile
MSI MEG Z490-I UNIFY, Intel Z490 Motherboard
32GB DDR4 3600MHZ Vengeance
Corsair 750W
1 x 1tb SSD (Samsung 860 Evo)
1 x 500gb SSD (Samsung 840 Evo)
Nvidia GTX 3080 or use my old MSI GTX 1070ti

Can anyone comment on whether this is too high a spec to put inside a Node 202 or would this be ok?

I have not purchased these bits yet and just wondered if anyone else has temperature issues with the node 202.

Thought I would ask here before buying these as some people may have experiences with the Node 202 already :)

Many thanks for any replies.

What are you using the pc for and have you considered ryzen. I too am looking at this case along with a couple others. I have seen people with hotter cpu's and bigger gpus than yours being put into that case, yes it gets quite toasty but you do have options of underclocking/volting if its too high etc.

I think the 10700k is a 125w TDP and the Cryorig C7 is only rated to handle up to 100w TDP. You won't have a hope in hell of overclocking in that case with that cooler.

Yes, I was looking at the possibility of a Ryzen CPU due to the lower tdp of them, I currently have a 8700k and was hoping to get an upgrade in the new system, but I cant seem to find anything with lower tdp and better than the 8700K at the moment. :D

Had one of these, with a 4770k in it with an Arctic cooler, biggest that could fit (Can increase it by a few mm if you remove the dust filter), temps were about 60-70 deg under load when gaming.

I got rid of it, bought it thinking it'd be a nice small console-esque case for the living room but its not even that small (Measure it, I didn't..)
