Afternoon
I've got a msi z87i mitx mobo, h90 cooling and node 304 case.
I just bought gtx 770 jetstream gpu but struggling to fit that in
has anyone gone for similar setup and was successful? Please help

I assume your problem is that the cooler is more than 2 slots wide and there isn't enough width in the 304 to accomodate it.

I had exactly the same issue with a 7950 Ice-Q Boost, so while I can offer sympathy I think that's the best you're going to get. You're going to need a bigger case or a smaller card.

Another problem you may come across is the length of the PSU. I had used a corsair hx 750w and it overhung the board by about 10mm meaning that a card longer than an itx board wouldn't fit. Luckily enough I was using a GTX650 at the time.

Check out the Node 804 though, yeah its bigger but looks almost the same from the front and fits loads more in. Oh and it has a window.. :) http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/node-series/node-804

Or just get a 770 with a smaller cooler.

my psu is 150mm, any card fits inside the case with ease, the problem is the heatsink, its too fat :D

I bought evga supernova psu when assembling this, what a big mistake :D

Will try and get another gtx 770 with a slim profile, such as EVGA ACX or Gainward Phantom

Thanks for the help guys, sadly card must go back

Yeah I noticed when these came out that hardly any manufacturers stuck to the reference cooler probably due to sound. The Gainward Phantom should do a good job as the heatsink should sit right next to the mesh on the side meaning it would be pulling nice cold air through the heatsink. That would be my choice in that case.. :D
