So after a bit of reading through these forums I decided to give this a shot, especially after seeing a similar setup linked in a black/gold theme by Malik.

Fractal Node 804
i5 2500k @ 4.6ghz
Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z mATX
16GB Corsair Vengeance
Palit GTX 970 O/C'd

280mm Alphacool Monstaa
EK X-RES 100 w/D5
EK 970 FC GPU Block + Backplate
EK Supremacy Evo CPU block
Primochill Advanced LRT Onyx Tubing
EK Compression fittings throughout
Corsair SP120 Quiet fans on the left side
2x Horrible

Few pictures below, had a nightmare when I tried to use a Koolance 90 degree fitting from the rad to the res return, despite being tightened by pliers it just slowly leaked after filling, replaced it with an EK 90 fitting done (very) finger tight and it was fixed instantly.

The back compartment as you can imagine is a mess as the PSU is meant for an ATX case and is only semi-modular so eventually I may try and neaten it up back there.

Temps are not the best (~35c GPU idle and ~40c CPU idle going to ~48c GPU/65c CPU under heavy gaming load) but I think I'm on the limits of what I can cool with a single 280mm radiator, even the ridiculous monstaa plus the parallel setup I decided on for the neatness of the tubing.

I flushed the rad etc with hot water before use a few times but after a few days of running the EK clear coolant I used has gone slightly cloudy or milky that I can see in the res, any idea why this would be?

The clouding is perhaps plasticizer, although I've heard Primochill tubing doesn't use such a substance. It could possibly be residue from the radiator if it wasn't thoroughly cleaned.

Could you post a picture of the back compartment too?
