even on lowest voltage my case makes tons of noise.

I have a few options:

replace the tt120 with one of those zalman fans:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-010-ZA

this is better maybe cos it cools my hot northbridge, and my ram aswell, and its silent.

or i can turn down or unplug some of the fans in the case, it has 4 in the case then a tt120 and one in the gfx card exhaust aswell.

Its fine to run but when you go to bed leaving it downloading its just too loud.

what shall i do ?

Can of Worms open...... they're everywhere!

As to there being no point overclocking, lets keep that out of this thread ;)

Also notice you have an Antec 900 which has more case fans than needed, so that is going towards the amount of noise your computer makes.Turning down the fans on the case will probs be the best bet, or maybe turn some of them off. If your temps are fine it shouldn't be a problem.

which shall i turn off, the led ones on the front ? theres a 120mm one on the top and a 60 on the back, shall i turn the one on the back off aswell ? therefore no blue led's easier to get to sleepeh...

forgive me for asking this, but whats making the most noise?

if its the fans, then sure turn them down as you are only downloading, however if its the hdd then you will have to look at possibly putting elastic around them or using those rubbery round things...

usually speaking fans are the noisiest....have you checked to make sure the dust isnt making your fans work extra hard therefore making them louder? its only a suggestion...

I would turn them all off except the 200mm on the top. And set that at the lowest speed. Monitor your temperatures closely, but I don't think you'll have a problem, especially if you have C1E and Speedstep turned on.

I think you will find that, at this point your CPU cooler or the Graphics Card cooler is actually the noisiest thing in the case. Thermaltake 120mm fans are usually pretty quiet, as are NVidia coolers, so I hope you don't have an ATI graphics card!

I hate to say we told you so, but you should have bought an Akasa Eclipse ;)
