As per the title, I get a lot of noise/interference on my PC speakers when connected to the internal sound card.

Therefore, I assume the best thing to do would be to buy a new sound card? Can somebody recommend me one that's not too expensive?

Thanks!

spooks suggestion is a good one for a quick fix.

If you chosoe a soundcard what do you do? what speakers do you have? do you use headphones? need specific ports?

If you need ageneric SC then Asus Xonar DG or DGX if you need a bit more Creative Z if you need/want to spend more than that then skip the rest all the way to the STX.

Alternatively you could look at external soundcards the ASUS U3 and U7 are both very good for their price points.
