I'm getting a Enermax Liqtech 120X and just wanted to be sure my plans for Push Pull eLoops would be fine. Heard someone a while ago (in a YouTube video) stating that eLoops don't run in a pull configuration due to the blades clashing with radiators.

Any truth in this?

The blades jut out a little outside the frame, and it's usually ok with most radiators since the core itself is narrower than the frame surrounding it. The other thing is due to the small gap between the blades and the core, it can create a drone-like noise that people can mistake for actual contact. This effect depends on your radiator also so I can't say for sure how bad or not at all present it will be.

Looks likes there's a gap between the frame and the core. Do you think a a rubber fan mount could be used to put some space between the rad and the fan?

A thicker shroud might be better but at that point you may as well get a different fan for pull, having different fans won't really affect performance as long as they are similar.

Thanks for the help! Something to think about!

The noiseblocker fans are supposed to be pretty good for radiators so I shall just get a couple and update this thread if there are any issues. Any other fans that are good on radiators? (just in case).
