Hey everyone, I've got a 150GB Raptor drive in my system.
Just wondered but when I save Football Manager gamers or when Windows loads up, or sometimes just randomly....I get a loud noise coming from my system that sounds like the drive is reading/saving data.
Is it just because the raptor is a loud drive that its so noticeable? I've got a 500GB drive for back up which when i access that is pretty much silent.
Is it the raptor being so loud?
If i was to sell my raptor what drive/s would offer as good a performance?
I've been looking at the WD Caviar SE16 16mb cache AAKS drives, maybe one on its own or two in RAID.
Any advice or recommendations?
