Hi all,

I have a nicely specced PC from Overclockers bought in April 21,
OcUK Gaming Scimitar - Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3090 Pro Gaming PC

This has an Asustec AIO on it.

For the last few weeks there has been a loud buzz for about 5 mins following boot from cold.

So I tried interrupting each of the fans in turn to identify wich fan is making the noise.
Turns out it is none of them.

The buzzing shound reminds me a little of the sound made by a cheap aquarium pump -
Could I have a faulty pump in the AIO
Might it be air in the system?
Should I pull the AIO and return it ?

could it be anything else if not the AIO pump ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, got an RMA for the AIO.
So now I have a new 240 AIO unit to fit
The current AIO is installed as follows:
240 rad on the front of the case at the top
Pump on the cooler mounted below the top of the rad.
2 fans drawing in from the front over the rad (monted on it) into the case,

Case is a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X Digital Midi Tower Glass
Case Fans:
Additional fan below the rad pulling air in.
2 fans in the top of the case venting out
1 fan at the rear of the case venting out.
Additional fan at the bottom of the case puling air in. - Rad on the front of the case, at the top so the pump is below the top of the rad.

Pipes on the AIO are currently at the top - the AIO passes the back of the GPU card with about 50mm clearence and Im not sure the pipes are long enough to make what would be a v tight corner with the pipes pushing on the end of the GPU.

So, Should I swap as is or:

Mount the 240 radiator on the top of the case with the fans blowing out.
Take the 2 fans from the top and put them in the front of the case blowing in.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks
