Hi All

I bought some components from overclockers and assembled a PC. One of the components was a Corsair Hydro H50 Liquid CPU cooler. I bought this because I thought it would be a quiet device but sadly I was wrong. I have put up with it for about 3 years now but have now started recording music on my pc which means that on occasions I need to use a microphone in the same room as the pc.
To cut a long story short the fan for the H50 is too loud and I need some alternative.

Can anyone recommend a solution?
It doesn't have to be a water cooling system. Just some way of affordably cooling my I7 quietly.

My system consists of the following :
Corsair Hydro H50-1 High-Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/1155/1156/1366/AM2/AM3)
Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz (Bloomfield) (Socket LGA1366) - Retail
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard

Thanks in Advance

Just order the same sized fan with silent in the title. If its too loud balance the speed with your preference with sound, and your good to go :)

I also have a Corsair Hydro in my PC. Imho most of the noise comes from the water pump and not the fan attached to the radiator. I can reduce the pump noise by reducing the "CPU Fan speed" using the software that came with my mobo.
