Noisy graphics card fan

Hi -
I've got an ATi Radeon Powercolor X700 EZ, and the fan sounds like an angry hornet.

I bought a very lovely ATI silencer - one of these. Unfortunately it fits the ATi Radeon Powercolor X700 Pro, but not the EZ, which seems to be a cheap and cheerful version, with fixing holes in entirely different places...

Can anyone tell me what fan might be suitable to fit to the EZ version?

Thanks chaparral -
Um, not sure if it will or not. I don't know how you can get to see the measurements of the fixing holes without actually ordering it.

However, I see from the reviews that someone has fitted it to a Sapphire ATI Radeon X1950 Pro AGP, which I'm about to fit into another PC. So I'll check the size of the fixing holes of that card against the holes of my own card. :)

remove the fan from the card, remove the little round sticker on the fan, put 2-3 drops of oil in it, put sticker back, put fan back, put card back and voila!

Thanks Dr_Evil -
I think this is a naturally noisy fan, which is why I was thinking about replacing it. It's been pretty noisy since I bought it, although it's got worse in recent weeks.

I'll give it a try though. Keep taking the b*** thing out then putting it back. Once more won't hurt! :)
