Noisy Laptop Fan

hi my Lappy is 2/3 years old now and is fine powerwise for the kids to browse etc. however now a fan on the motherboard or some other cooling has started rattling like a git.

normally if this was a desktop id whip it off and replace it but im not so confident taking a laptop apart.

is it an easy job ? do i need special tools ? any advice for this?

is it worth paying a tech shop to do it ? and if so do you know how much they could charge ?

any help / advice appreciated.

sorry for the delay. its a hp Pavilion dv2000.

ive heard a similar noise on a desktop on a northbride fan which was just cloged to death with dust this sounds like a similar issue or maybe dodgy ball bearings. just becoming a bit too loud.
