Poo.
Sounds like my 'superdrive' or whatever they call it, could be on it's way out.
I'm hoping not, and it's just having one of those moments, but if not - does anyone have an idea how much it would be to replace it? I.e. either get Apple to do the job, or some other repairer...
Am semi-tempted to have a go myself, but looks a bit of an unpleasant job, and don't really want to mash it it.
Oh - it's a circa 2008 MacBook (the one's they call 'BlackBooks')
