Nokia 2.2 getting full

I have a Nokia 2.2 running Android 10 (which is up to date) with 16 GB internal storage and 128 GB additional storage set as internal (actually it's a 256 GB SD card but Android only sees 128 GB), and Android is complaining that the 16 GB internal storage is getting full and not letting me move stuff over to the SD card, which has 123 GB free. I've moved as many apps over to the SD card as I can, but most - and Google's own apps are the prime culprits - won't let me move them over.

I have 5.2GB in 'other apps' and 9.7 GB in System.

Any suggestions?

My wife had a similar issue. She found that a few apps that had been installed for a while had huge amounts of data being cached on the phone - even if the app had been moved to the SD card. WhatsApp and snapchat were both really bad for this.

Perhaps go to settings, apps and check data and cache sizes and delete them if possible. The installed app size is often misleading.
