Im in the market to buy a new phone. Did have a D600. Great phone. Good camera and mp3 playing. Easy to use. It got robbed though, so I got a Motorola SLVR to tie me over. Not a bad phone but want something with a better camera and mp3 playing etc.

Ive been looking around and the Nokia 3250 has caught my eye. I want something a little different. No as popular. Hence why I dont want a D600, K750i or a W800i, If I can help it ;)

Some specs of the 3250...

  • Funky twisting motion.
  • 2 Megapixel Camera (1600x1200 Default) 4x Zoom.
  • Video Capture. 176x144. 15 frames per second.
  • 10 Hours playback. 3 Hours talk time. 245 hours standby (10 Days).
  • MP3 player. Built in Radio.
  • 10MB Built in memory. Upto 1GB transflash external.
  • Bluetooth etc etc connectivity.

All sounds good to me.

Wondering what the internet browser is like? Usually want to get onto Hotmail, check emails, reply to them etc. Is the browser setup good for this. General nice internet on your phone?

I also see that its got S60 software. Using a Symbian OS. Are these good to use etc? Would it be like a smart phone setup? Does'nt the P910i use a Symbian OS? My brother has one, Ive had a play around. Its good to use.

If anyone, has one or knows about phones etc, please post your comments, tips, advice etc. It would be welcome.

I've got one mate and so far been very happy with it, the main thing that first surprised me is that unlike every other Nokia (specially Series 60), there are no software problems, Ive not had one reset, or crash or anything.

Ive stuck a 512Mb card in it and the sound quality is brilliant, the speaker is immense the quality is good but its very loud, for calls its fantastic.

The camera is the let down its ok but since i had a w800i before it im guessing most camera phones will be downgrade compared to a w800i.

But so far really happy with it and reccommend it.

if u need to know more let me know.

All sounds good then :) The camera wouldnt be as good as the W800i as you said, but its a good camera by all means right?

Now I just need to source one at the right price...

You get yours on contract?

Might get on the phone to o2 about an early upgrade. Not bothered about paying an excess if it aint too much...

Thanks.
