Yes, I have a nokia 3310 - still. It makes calls, it sends (and receives) a mighty fine text message, and best of all its REALLY tough... I can confidently drop mine out of my pocket, KNOWING that it wont break. I make money out of it by betting people i can drop it in a sink of water, and its served me well over the years.
The weird thing is, im quite a "gadgety" person but ive never been that into the whole phone features thing - l have my iriver for mp3s, a camera for pictures, a good pc for web browsing, a psp for mobile gaming... what can a new phone give me?
But i think enough is enough. i got away with it for a while by saying "its retro", or my favourite "its a classic" but now strangers just hurl abuse at me, im sure most of it is due to the phone.
Would you guys recommend upgrading? If so, what to? Id like it to be reasonably tough, not a flippy one, cost isnt THAT important. Thanks!
