I have this model of phone. It has a built-in FM radio, however I have only ever been able to receive one station on it, my local independent radio station, it does not pick up any others at all. Is this just my phone, any other 5800 owners have the same problem?

i think you have to use the headset, same with sony, although I don't know

I don't think the nokia 5800 is digital radio is it?

He should already have the headphones plugged in otherwise it wouldn't work at all. TBH I never really had any luck with the built in FM radio.

FWIW one of the few things I really like about my 5800 is the fact that the FM radio reception is much better than any other portable radio I've had before. It even works inside the steel shed I work in, which has always caused problems before.

[I do find the GPS aerial *much* more of a problem. I've only had it lock on to a decent signal once in four months of attempts. Fortunately I use the radio far more than I use the mapping.]

not sure whats worst, shopping center or steel shed, but ethoir way my old K800 could pick stations up

Update - I've had a mess around with the settings. I turned a setting on called Use Alternative Frequencies (or something like that). Seems to have helped, I'm now getting all the main BBC radio stations and Classic FM as well (which is the one I really wanted). So I'm a happy bunny now.
