Nokia 6280 on Tmobile... thoughts?

Has anybody got this phone ?

Read a couple of reviews.... poor battery... .3g is poor... Slider is good... slider is bad...

would appreciate other peoples thoughts... been talking to people in a couple of Tmobile shops today and they are not sure the SE 810 will be here this month - also the guy who works at Tmobile is not sure.... but then again I got an email from T themselves saying the 25% promotion was ending March!

so stuck for a phone now....

My battery is actually pretty good, as long as you give it a 16+ hour first charge, you'll be fine. I've not had any problems with 3G and network coverage. The slider may be a little brittle, so don't expect a solid slide.

thanks for that - not had a 3g phone before... does this phone do video call and does this cost extra or does it come from your allowance ?

Yep, it's got two cameras on the phone so you can video call other 3G phones - providing that you're in network coverage. Not sure about the cost of it though, but if you're going with T-Mobile, I think they give you 'X' amount of minutes each month for video calling.

- can anybody confirm the video calls come from your allowance on Tmobile ?

And 1 more question if I may - when trying a video call how do you know the number your calling has a 3g/video phone ? ... sorry for dumb question - not used 1 before!

the only thing ive got bad to say about this phone is, if you dont put it in a case, the underneath of the screen will get VERY dusty. i had mine 2 days and it looked awful. other than that though its a cracking little phone.

im on 3 so cant help you with the tariff stuff im afraid

have a 6280 on vodafone very happy with it

about the dust under the screen does the front cover come off to clean it???

with video calling get the persons name up then press options and select video call from there (not sure but think u have to have a usim card to make video calls)
