I'm gonna get this phone fixed at a nokia center but i hate it and have really had enough so i'm gonna flog it as it sucks beyond belife.

I just wanted to see if others have had the same issues and what happend from em

I've had mine since August 2005

It's the longest I've ever had a phone.

It's been very reliable, I had a dodgy Orange sim card which made the phone lock all the time - but Orange sent me a new sim card and it's been fine ever since.

You have 2 years warranty with the phone - so if you are having problems with it send it to Nokia and await either a replacement or that one being fixed.

I've had mine since July 05 and is still on original hardware and the only problems I have had is the occasional lockup whilst using the camera.

It will still be under warranty so just send it back. You've just been unlucky.

Also Maz are you sure about the 2 year warranty thing because I'm sure only certain countries qualify for that and the United Kingdom isn't one of them? I'm sure we only get one year from what I have read on the web and the documents that come with the phone although I don't have them to hand right now.

The 8800 in the UK has a full 2 year warrenty. Although what Nokia don't shout about is that all their new phones have a 2 year warrenty too! Although its at the expense of accessory warrenty (which is now only 90 days).

The 8800 is there flagship phone, go read the manual it says so in there

I'll go get it sorted today or tormrow and see what goes.

Getting use to it now but lame that such a phone runs poo software init
