Nokia bluetooth headset won't connect ot PC :(

I'm having problems connecting a nokia headset to a laptop via bluetooth. The laptop can see the headset, but when I click on it, then click connect it says that the headset is trying to connect to the pc and requires a pin (which I don't have). Any ideas how to fix this?

so is that a setting on the pc or the bluetooth headset?
