The "C" button on my E72 is not working correctly, you have to press it twice or press it firmly. Is replacing the keyboard likely to fix this or will it be an issue underneath the keyboard?

Keyboards look to be pretty cheap on Ebay and i've got the correct screwdrivers to replace it.

Thanks

might be dirt or something. The fix for me (n95) is that I just press the key REALLY hard so that it breaks any piece of dirt under it, careful though. I've only ever had to to it twice

or you can get a cheap new keyboard

Just took the phone apart (was really easy, just two screws and a bit of leverage) and can't see how replacing the keyboard would help. The rubber stud on the rear of the "C" key looks identical to the rubber studs on the other keys... The damage must be on the actual electronics?

Have considered putting a tiny dot of superglue on the rear of the key though, to 'pack it out' - would mean the key would have to travel less I guess?
