It would be nice, but can't see it happening, I use MyTube instead which is really good.

Wasn't MetroTube also a very good YT app?
I really should have researched more the last time I had one! May well be time to give it another go, as my iphone constantly turns itself off at random percentages now and I don't want to replace the battery again!
Is the Lumia 930 still the one of choice, or is the 830 better?
It is a good app yes, I prefer MyTube though, just feels nice to me.
Pros of the 930 are the 20mp camera, Amoled screen, and it has the chip for ''Hey Cortana''
Cons, No expandable storage, no Glance screen fixed battery.
The 830 Has Glance, but no ''Hey Cortana'' Expandable storage,removable battery. but only a 10mp camera, which tbh has impressed me.
Either way they are both great phones.
Metrotube is indeed brilliant.
And no thanks for proper youtube app, that would probably mean spamming of adverts.
Will give mytube a go out of curiosity.

Which do you have? Hey Cortana appeals if I could make it ring someone whilst driving with absolutely no need to touch the phone at all!
830, which i assumed would get the feature, but must have miss read the spec's when buying, i would prefer it over Glance.
The blacks are really good yes, the screen is on the whole great.
Just ordered myself a fitbag case, hopefully it'll give decent protection.
For a Lumia? If so the rumoured 940 should make an appearance toward late summer along with Windows 10. I guess it boils down to if you need an upgrade now and how much you want to spend, the 930 can be had for around £300 now sim free, or you could wait for the 940 which will probably retail around the £450 on release.

Merrotube has been one if not the best YT app on pretty much any platform for years, as far back as windows phone 7, and its constantly in the top of the apps list, if you ever owned a WP device, how is it literally possible on any way to miss this, unless you have never once visited the store?

I'm very impressed with my 830 camera (even the front one)
The level of lighting in the was too high for Flash, but a little low for no flash!!!
And even after the 40 odd photos I took and 10 minutes of video, the battery was still at 80% by 7pm when it all finished (2pm start!)

I guess, I don't see how anyone owned a WP device and not use one of the best YT apps made, at the time it had downloads no ads, played music playlist on lock screen etc.
