Ive just got my N5800 but it randomly makes a kind of "ching ching" sound and i dont know why. Is kind of like ive received a message or an alert or something, when i check my phone theres nothing there to explain the sound............its driving me mad. Any help would be appreciated.

ive managed to get to the cause of it. When i set up the phone i set up "nokia messaging" and basically it was doing a sync every so often, the noise was notification of my emails being received.
The confusing part was is that i also set up an email box in my messaging folders but everytime i checked that it was empty - well of course it was as the mail had already been downloaded to the "nokia messaging" account which i assumed was kind of the same thing. Anyway ive dissabled the automatic sync for the nokia email service and that has fixed the problem.
