Okay,

I can't decide between the above two phones on the three network.

Both seem to have pros and cons.

Anybody give advice especially if you have used both?

Making phone calls mainly and the odd bit of texting.

The HTC appeals to me since I used to have a PDA and I like the idea of been able to load lots of additional software, read email etc.

The GPS is a must hence my choice been these two on three. I don't want to go with another network as nobody comes close to the deal three offer me after been with them 5 years.

The Nokia seems to have better multimedia capabilities which tbh is the only thing stopping me getting the HTC over it.

Does the Nokia GPS work with any software eg Tom Tom or route66?

In fact can you load either of them on the Symbian platform?

If not, is there an equivalent? I don't want to use my data allowance in download maps/directions on the N95.

Also does anybody know if the N95 does push mail?

If making phone calls and the odd bit of texting is all you are wanting the phone for then get something like a K800i and stick the rest of the cash in your pocket.

You'll be able to buy a dedicated sat nav unit and still have change as well.

all same price but I suppose I could sell whatever I get and get the K800i except I detest sony ericssons! Just a personal thing. ;)

Malt Vinegar - How do you find the speaker volume? Some reviews state it is quiet and hard to hear it ringing?

That is one of my pet hates with phones when they too quiet!

And also is the lack of video acceleration an issue?

Never had a problem here with the speaker volume?

Well, its not a major problem for me, I dont notice it in everyday use. I have some videos at home that i encoded for my old M3100, i will stick one on the tytnII and see how it performs.

Cheers for that. It really is the two things putting me off it.

My other half just got a HTC P6500 - very nice :D

Read all that, very interesting.

Unfortuately my other half has deceided to flog it as a new phone so I won't be able to get my grubby little hands on it :(

Don't blame her really when she can get £400+ for it and buy a SE W960i for £200 to replace it.

She prefers her music phones.....whatever floats her boat really.

Hopefully, somebody will have done the ROM dumps by now since there are loads of P6500 around and maybe sometime soon there will be a fix.
