nokia n95 battery life

how long does your battery last in stand by in your n95? mine is lasting barely 10 hourse trying to work out if thats normal or ive got a fautly one

10 hours? make sure wlan searching is off. that cains mine if its left on. if its not doing anything mine will normally last about 2 days between charges. that's with a phonecall or two here and there, you know.

wlan searching is off as is bluetooth. im wondering if theres either a fault with the phone charging or the battery holding charge. as im sure that its nit normal for 10 hours

Mine will last for 3 days, with little or no use, between charges.

If I use it a lot, I get 2 days before it needs charging again.

Always make sure you exit applications as well. I left a game of system rush open by mistake (thought I had closed the program on exit) and the battery ran down really quickly.
You can tell if you have any applications running as there is a little circle by their icon in the menus. Improves battery life and frees up memory.

im only getting 10-12 hours of battery between charges on mine after moderate use

Mine has lasted for 48 hours max so far, but mine is well charged. When I first had my N95 the battery life was quite short, about 12 hours, but the more I have charged it, the longer it has lasted, a bit weird, but am happy at the moment with my N95 battery

I normally charge every 2 days.

cheers go so the battery could be ok and 12 hours is normal. if thats the case then i think i will be changing to a different phone.

Battery on mine last about 2 days as well but thats without me hardly using it otherwise i get a good days/day and a half use out the n95.

Mind you one thing i dont like is the task manager, its quite basic and the phone needs one like swiss manager pro where when you exit a program, it actually closes it down ie prime example is the log...after making a call from the list..it still stays open in task manager...

I send a crazy amount of text messages and make about an hours worth of calls and my battery lasts for way longer than that.
