Hi guys,

I've installed Nokia PC Suite onto my Laptop in order to use my N73 as a Bluetooth 3G Modem.

But there are no modem drivers installed, apparently. So I went to the Nokia site, which informs me the Modem drivers are included with PC Suite. Which I've already installed.

Any ideas?

Normally when you pair the device it picks up all its capabilities including the inbuilt modem, did it not find it?

Nope. I can do everything with the phone via PC Suite all over Bluetooth, works fine... yet when I go to 'Connect to the Internet' it tells me no modems are installed.

afaik - you usually just create a DUN manually and enter a special bluetooth code as the phone number *goes off to check*

edit - try setting up a connection manually with the n73 selected (if you can) and set the phone number to dial as #99**1# where 1 is the number of your AP in the 3g/GPRS settings

Right problem appears like so.

I have 2 laptops. One works fine with the N73 as a Modem the other doesn't. I don't even need to install PC Suite on Laptop A - I have a 'Standard Modem over Bluetooth Link' installed a Modem.

Laptop B, however, doesn't have this option.

Even if I install PC Suite, it seems to deny all knowledge of the potential to use Bluetooth to connect to a phone and use it as a modem :(

Got it working now by manually searching for a Modem. Can connect..

... but only at 115kbps despite being in a 3G Area. Any ideas?
