I am having a problem with Nokia PC suite and i have kinda hit a wall in fixing it. I phoned Nokia and they have sent me instructions on how to fix it but at the bottom it says "if the value of the registry was already explorer.exe please contact your computer manufacturer", Well thats ME and im stuck. Basically i connect my N80 up via USB and go into PC suite and click Get Connected, I am then asked to complete a connection wizard to connect my phone for the first time were i get this error message "There is no available connection type and therefor connection to the phone cannot be established the wizard will exit" followed by "failed to detect available connection types please re-install nokia pc suite" which i have done 4 times now. The phone can connect to the pc via DATA transfer which makes the phone go into Offline mode and you use it via pc on folder view which is easy but to exit safely without corrupting files you have to switch the phone OFF and On which gets boring after a while.
Any Ideas?
 
Don't get me started on this software. I have not been able to use the Transfer Music function in many months and software revisions. Pain in the arse software. Hurry up Sony Ericsson and bring out the W950I
 
It wont matter about pc suite for the N80 now. I have phoned orange and cancelled the contract within the first 7 days. I think i would rather keep the £640 and buy myself a new HDTV for the xbox and connect it to my pc.
 
Use the file manager part of pc suite and copy and paste the music directly from the HDD to your memory card. Or use a card reader/writer.
