Anyone using this for a 6230i and wondered whether it's ok, or just junk that bogs the system down etc....

Trust me, do not use it. It's one of the worst coded bits of work I've ever seen. I wish I could link you to the review I did of it about a year ago when I first tried it, but the site no longer exists sadly. It's extremely basic looking but uses far too many resources and ram for what it does.

Exactly what my thoughts are now after putting it on a spare ;) work machine. Total tosh. Thankfully the phones do what they are suppose to do, ring when a call comes in etc.

Cheers :)

yup, its total crap

i have a hard drive that i plug in thats full of terrible software that you'd never want on your real install but need from time to time

i just use that for a few mins when i need the programs, lol

If you're after phone management software for symbian phones, check out Oxygen Software.
I used to use their superb phone manager to manage my calendar and contacts and it was simple to use and the app itself wasn't bloated one bit.

since we're on the topic, does anyone know any decent freeware phone managers -standalone apps if poss!

Gah! That Nokia Suite Software is utterly terrible. Bloated for what it is and does. Sticks about 3 programs in your Windows startup folder for good measures too. Phone would connect fine one day and not on others.
