Nokia Software updater

Can someone check I am not being silly and grab me a link to the nokia software updater for the 5800, I dont want the PC suite, just the software updater, need to put it on my new laptop to see if I can finally update my phone but when I go on the nokia website it says its there, but I cant click on it.

Anyone with any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
 
Ta, that should do it, when I clicked on the model of my phone it didnt seem to be there, and I know i've got it from there before.
Will have a play with it at the weekend, thankyou :)
 
When I try and download it, it says the software is not supported, im running windows 7, does that make a difference?
 
I have no clue how to do that? It wont even let me have any options, I click on where it downloaded, and then it says what I posted above.
 
im not even sure if it'll update your 5800 :(

i've tried a lot of nokias lately... 6610 (don't laugh!)

doesn't matter cause i dont even use those phones... i just get kicks out of seeing new firmware lol

I havent been able to update my phone since I got it in March, just now I have a new computer I am seeing if it might work (not hopeful in the least)
 
Well kinda had the same problem . On ornage with 5800 and couldnt update . Downloaded the updater (win7) and run in compatability mode and it updated !!!! Yah!!

My phone has finally updated after 8 months of me trying! God bless new computer, and thankyou so much to coolasmoo for telling me how to download it. Just gone from version 11 :eek: to version 31 :cool:

Im so happy I could cry! :D

(any useful things I need to know about this version?)
