Nokian tyres??

Seen bits and pieces about these about the net, they seem to score well in any test they are in

heres one i found

mytyres have the nokian y for 186 euro vs 224 for the goodyear f1s, diff isnt a whole lot but these nokians are supposed to be very very good.

anyone any experience

they would have to be VERY good for me not to buy the Goodyears

Im running Toyo Red Leicesters at moment and will be scrubbing them off asap for the F1s

With a price different this small, why bother? Nokian are certainly not a respected performance tyre brand. Most people on the E39 forums fit Eagle F1's.

price difference isnt a factor, i just had heard good things and wondered if anyone else had them.

i need to get rid of the the marhsall ones on the rear sharpish!

If price isnt an issue get Eagle F1's or ContiSport Contact II's or something.

I got those with my wheel package that's on the S4 at the moment. Most awful tyres I have had the displeasure to use.
They have every negative thing you could want in a tyre IMO. They dont grip in the wet, they tramline, they offer no feedback whatsoever and they seem quite noisy on fast straight roads.
They will be coming off come pay day this month.

Nokian are highly regarded in the MTB scene, but Ive never heard of them making tyres for cars.

Decent studded winter MTB tyres

I don't think they'll suit a bimmer though.

Nokian....had one on my bike before. The profile was similar to bart simpsons head profile.

NEVER knew they made car tyres though. :eek:

Michelin, are the best for MTB but are expensive so i would go with them on my car tbh.

Just a shame theyd on't make them in my size else I'd have them on the turbo.

Would put Maxxis and IRC in front of Michelin tbh. Gazzaloddi's a crazy tyre.

thats where i saw all the really positive stuff, saab forums, spefically aero owners, preferred em over pzero rossi etc

If you do then we will have to employ a new Ditchfinder General

I'd get the highly recommended Eagles.
