Hi there,

Was going to buy some new spark plugs and was surfing about and found these Silver Spark Plugs.

http://www.nology.com/silver.html

I can get these for the same price as some NGK or Denso Iridium spark plugs and i wondered if anyone had any experience with them. Are all there claims in the link about the spark plug all BS and just trying to get you to buy them?

I can't find any reviews about them on the internet, whether this is because they are relatively new to the market i don't know.

Should i just stick to some iridium spark plugs?

Thanks.

Who the heck are Nology?

Obviously Silver is awesome for use in spark plugs, that's why all the big names make them. Oh, wait :/

Go for NGK/Denso, what car is it anyway?

Nology has been selling bunk for ages now. They started out with their plug wires with little power smoothing caps inside...such BS.

Personally, I used NGK V-power plugs on my b16a. They were dirt cheap and were very good. The only advantage of using Iridium plugs and the like is that you don't have to change them very often, but you end up paying just as much. Also they sacrifice a stronger spark (copper plug) for a smaller electrode in order to expose more of the spark to the air/fuel mixture, but I haven't seen any concrete evidence that it actually makes a difference. I'll stick to good ole' cheap copper.

I use Denso Iridiums, but NGK's are very good too.
Iteresting info:
at work we use NGK's in *** Ferrari/Maserati's, Bosch in the Porsche's and Chamion in the Lambos
