Hmmm, that would work...
To be fair, the most post happy members tend to be ones on the forum more often, meaning they're likely browsing to report posts. Guess they need some kind of maturity and ability to set an example. Oh and of course the ability not to be troll baited.
Without being able to see percentages of valid reported threads we don't really have huge amounts of statistics to go on

Yes but we all want to acknowledge the more stand out members of the community too - the forum 'heros' if you like.
I suggest an annual black tie gala ball awards ceremony (somewhere near Newcastle-under-Lyme) where we can cheer them and gift them with a nice trophy.
Raymond Lin can take the photos and Lucy Bee can wear her new boots.

Duke although he doesn't bask in the glow of GD popularity he would do a great level headed job and already contributes lots of time to the forum rather than trying to force his wisdom on everyone in each and every GD thread.
Those people can't moderate they spend far too much time forcing their will on everyone else

All I see above are votes for people who spam the 'This Instant & Moment' thread like it's a twitter feed.
Most of it is complete drivel..
A poll could be useful, it would be better off if the people who want the position put their names forward first though so it doesn't end up as a poll of people who may not even want it.
