Non-founders edition 1080s not available yet?

All the non-founders cards are still "pre-order".

The founders editions went live and are pretty much now all sold out.

Anyone know what's going on?

The FE cards are available for order now.

The non-FE cards are only available for pre-order.

I was under the assumption that they would all be released today?

How come this is not the case?

There will be smaller quantities of these cards releasing over the next few weeks. I imagine after that, stocks will become much better.

No firm dates.

EDIT: That said, on the actual product pages, if you hover over the pre-order button, it shows an expected stocking date for some of them.
