Can anyone recommend a Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo?

I have a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and ever since day 1 it has been sporadic to say the least. A lot of the time keys I press do not register, and I find myself typing out words with half the letters missing even though I have physically pressed the keys and have to go back and fill in the missing letters which is extremely time wasting and infuriating to say the least. The mouse is better, but even that has the same problems with clicks not registering half of the time(the batteries are fine, have been changed for brand new ones over the years and are definitely not the problem). A friend of mine also had the same problem with the exact same keyboard and mouse and returned his, although mine was a gift and was difficult/awkward to return so I stuck with it over the years, but am now at the end of my tether and looking for a much better solution.

I am looking for something non-Microsoft(as I don't trust their Keyboard/Mouse wireless combos after this)with a decent mouse for gaming. A lot of the Keyboard Mouse combos I've seen feature heavily of telling you about the keyboard and mention almost nothing about the mouse, or don't have a big picture of the mouse and it is very difficult to see what it looks like or if it will suit my needs. I'm looking for a mouse with a scroll wheel, primary and secondary buttons as well as at least one on the left hand side if not more for gaming.

My budget is up to £50 although the cheaper the better obviously.

except its not wireless :P

Wireless gaming m ice are around £50 on their own, some will be a bit cheaper but im unsure as I havent looked for ages tbh.

Id get something logitech if I were you, OCUK only seem to stock bundles that are either way expensive for you, or wave keyboards and I wouldnt recommend one of them as I dont like them.

Logitech. I've just taken stock of a K340 and M570 and they are excellent! And the nano receiver is tiny.

The mouse looks superb but also looks expensive? The keyboard is nice, but I forgot to mention I need one with the delete, home, end, page up and page down keys grouped separately like my existing keyboard(I'm not fussy at all am I?).

Will do friend.

As an alternative I know I said I didn't want to take up two Usb slots with a receiver for each but these two wireless mice caught my eye and have plenty of buttons for gaming. Anyone got one and can tell me if they're any good and what the reception is like? Tempted to pick up one of these now and get a keyboard separately.

Update - Checked on Logitechs site but I have the same problem - they tell you all about the keyboard and virtually nothing about the mouse. The picture again features the keyboard mainly and you really can't see anything of worth on the mouse as there are no separate pictures.

doh...sorry forgot the wireless part.

wireless gaming mice aren't great imo, I prefer wired. Most mobo's/cases have plenty USB2.0 connections these days

I sit/lay back on the bed playing games on the 37" Tv infront of it, so need a wireless setup. Can't stand being hunched over a desk(and neither can my back it seems!). Must be wireless friend.

UPDATE - Ok, I've gone for this mouse in the end because of its awesome looks, price and extra buttons for gaming http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-004-BZ&groupid=702&catid=23&subcat=1276 . Can't wait for it to arrive! Now on the hunt for a decent keyboard(I'd get the Tron one OCUK are selling as it looks awesome but my budget is up to £40! lol). Must be wireless as stated. Any recommendations?

Ok, I went for a Logitech Pro 2000 keyboard in the end as it suited everything I was after. Its a shame OCUK do not stock these as they look pretty decent, have lots of features, are obviously wireless and are affordable as well. Anyway, thanks for those who offered their kind advice. Can't wait for my mouse to turn up now too!
