When my old Antec Psu blew up, I got a replacement rather hastily and bought a 750W Xfx non modular psu. Its come the time for me to actually dolly my pc up no that i have a good spec under the bonnet. Im planning on getting a 650D case, h100 and a few bits and bobs.

I was wondering what are the results like for braiding a nonmodular psu and whats the best way to go ahead with it. At the moment, my case has a non-movable hard drive bay and ive just tucked the un used cables below, it doesnt help the airflow all to well but not a great deal i can do

If you want to fully braid it you'd need to remove the PSU from your system whenever you want to do some braiding.

Alternatively you could buy some plain extensions for the cables you want to do and braid them and just add them to the cables from the PSU. You won't have the good look from the cables coming out of the PSU but they'll look nice in your case.

Alternatively again you could cheat and buy pre-braided extensions.
