Non oversized graphics card upgrade

I haven't upgraded my computer for quite sometime, I am currently running an ATI 4780 512mb.

I am looking to upgrade this card as I think it holding my system back quite some way when I am playing SWTOR. What would be a good card to get?

I currently run a 4.5Ghz Core2Duo (E8400 I think) 8GIG Corsair Dominator DDR2 and an SSD.

One thing is that the card cannot be an oversized one as my case is not large enough to cope with these new ones and I don't really want to upgrade that just yet.

I have a 22" monitor which runs 1680xsomething but will probably upgrade for a full HD 27" at some point.

Anyone have any ideas what I should be looking at?

ALX Andy, your signature is WAYYY too big.

Personally, I'd go for a cheap 6850 and overclock it, as they can be had for around 100.
