Non PWM Monitor

Need a non PWM Monitor for photoshop and eve online and c&c style games I really don't know whether to go 27" or 24" the 27 would give great res for photo editing on 1400p but prices get high for them.

Budget is
450ish for monitor
350ish for gfx card to power said monitor

I have 2 x gtx460 in SLI atm but I don't think they would cope with 1400p res well at high settings in game or photoshop?

Anyone got any of the monitors on the list? That can give feedback? Some people have a lot to say on gloss coat or mat anti glare, any thoughts on that?

The Dell 27" look ok and one is one sale atm but how do other brands compare?
